In the light of the good online attendance of the presentations of the Academy Lecture and the Hendrik van der Bijl Memorial Lecture in 2021, the Executive Committee decided to present the 2022 Academy Lectures in hybrid mode in order to make it accessible to a wider audience while allowing local guests the opportunity to meet the lecturers in person.
