The CAETS 2023 Annual Meetings and Technical Symposium was hosted by the Croatian Academy of Engineering from 9-11 October in Zagreb, Croatia. The theme of the symposium was e2 – Mobility. In response to a request by the Croatian Academy of Engineering for participation in the preparation of a report on transport decarbonisation/e-mobility to be presented at the symposium, SAAE Fellow Pine Pienaar prepared a subchapter on the decarbonisation aspects of Africa. Exco invited him to attend CAETS 2023 with SAAE Treasurer Felix Reinders.
