The Hendrik van der Bijl Memorial Lecture, which is presented annually by SAAE in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology of the University of Pretoria, was presented on 10 October 2024 in the Senate Hall at the University of Pretoria by Mr Greg Solomon, the Chief Executive Officer of MacDonald’s South Africa. It was attended by one hundred and fifteen guests.
